One Search Overview

Use Destiny One Search to search the catalog and multiple online resources with a single search request. Your teachers and students can search a variety of free and subscription databases, including libraries, encyclopedias, newspapers, almanacs, and reference databases. Best of all, patrons do not need to remember the URLs, usernames, and passwords for multiple databases.

One Search comes with free, preloaded databases to get you started. You can change the default list by adding or deleting databases.

  Note: For One Search to appear in your search results, Destiny must have 'preset selected' databases.

Supported One Search databases

View all the One Search databases. This list is updated regularly and gives databases a status of Available or Temporarily Unavailable.

Enhancement Request

If the database you are looking for is not on the site, submit an enhancement request.

Note: Check the list of One Search databases periodically to see whether Follett added the database you're looking for.
